Jeremey's 2000 Chevy Pickup

Welcome to my page. My truck is a 2000 Chevy Silverado. My dad grabbed it for me, and is doing a restore on it while I'm away... This is how it all began...

Obviously, it does need a little loving, but overall, she isn't that bad... Little did dad know...lol

A little mix of tan with duct tape...lol

A little on the dirty side... For sure...

Tires need to be replaced... Dry rotted bad at the bead...

Now, lets get started...

Time to get rid of the old rusty bumper. Mike Blontz put a roll pan on his Sierra 2500HD so I inherited his bumper. The brackets between the 1500 and the 2500 were different, so I added now ones.

Much, much better... Gotta get the hitch on there soon.

Next came the cab corners and rocker panels... Both sides are done... Just need to finish them off.

Took the liberty and changed out the cabin filters. I kinda think it needed them...

No wonder the stereo sounded like crap...

Now that a lot of the neglect has been completed, lets move along to the betterment...

Added some new 20" shoes... and non dry rotted tires...

Yep... Changing out the 4 speaker factory stereo, and making it a 10 speaker and 2 sub Navigation system. For a grand total of 12 speakers! Thank you Mr. Escalade!

A better look for sure... Strange how the Esky ac knobs made the trip too...lol

Color keyed door handles...

Added Esky style door handle trim, oh, and the towing mirrors that are heated with turn signals in the glass.

Ahh... Led cab lights too...

Replaced the fog lights as well... She is looking better all the time.

Dual exhaust... One out each side... Love it, has the flowmaster.

God himself doesn't even know what the hell this was... it IS sticky... I contemplated replacing the entire headliner. BUT...

You would be amazed what a little foamy window cleaner and a dry towel can do. I used Liquid Glass. Heck of a difference.

Yep, same engine...

I can't stand the filthy engine... But this, I like this.

Escalade cluster... Like the look... Gonna LED this entire interior to match the Terrain.

Time for the new Pics...

Liking it better every day. I added in channel door vent shades, but opted not to get them for the rear window. The rears pop out and the shades are huge, and stick way out. This is the way most people are going.

Both the cab lights, and the hi-mount stop/cargo light are smoked LED. I have quite a few more additions to make.

Time for some new photos...yes, it's been a while...

Completed the Escalade interior... everything works..

I redesigned the gauge face on the cluster to go with the red theme...

The DIC works as well...

Also did a gold band on the bottom, some fender flares, and the fiberglass tonneau cover (now removed as it was a pain to haul anything...) and changed the wheel size from 20" to 18'... Ride now much improved.

Welcome to PA!!! And all the rust that goes with it... As you can see, I had a few crossmembers to replace... And some frame welding...

All re-done! Looks a whole lot better now. I want this truck to last... It runs so well it's unreal. Especially for a 4.8L

Or is it??? Lol...

Oh, I did add the E-Fans from a 05 Yukon XL. For the moment they are controlled by the temp sensor probe on the left corner, which goes into the radiator. It will soon get the factory harness and be tied into the factory computer to allow it to turn them on and off as needed, with a tune of course...

That's pretty much it for the moment, but there will be lots more added over time.
